Taking Advantage: How corporate health insurers harm America's seniors
June 3, 8:00pm

Delays. Denials. Unexpected out-of-pocket costs. Limited networks. People all across Ohio with so-called "Medicare Advantage" plans face barriers to receiving the care they need. Frivolous prior authorizations and denials waste time and resources for physicians, taking us away from patient care. This national webinar is led by physicians.

NOTE: The organization Physicians for a National Health Program will be releasing a new report on the harms of Medicare Advantage, which will follow up on their previous report in October of last year (see previous report and one pager here). The webinar will also feature a live legislative update from Sen. Warren and include many personal stories of patients and physicians who have been harmed by Medicare Advantage corporations.
