OSMA's 2025 Advocacy Fellowship Opportunity
Have free time this upcoming summer? Want to get a hands-on advocacy experience? The Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) is looking for a driven and personable medical student for a 6-8 week internship in summer 2025! The medical student fellow will work with our Government Relations staff on ongoing advocacy initiatives relating to the practice of medicine. Expect unique opportunities in a fun, fast-paced environment.

If not, the OSMA Foundation Summer Scholars stipend might be a good fit for you. Nearly half of short-term summer internship opportunities for medical career development are UNpaid. OSMA recognizes the financial challenges medical students face, and we're here to help remove barriers that might prevent you from pursuing a summer experience! The OSMA Foundation has created the Summer Scholars program to award $2,500 stipends to medical students across Ohio, helping to fill the financial gap of an unpaid internship.
