Recognition Week is October 19-23, 2026
This week-long initiative emphasizes the critical role IMGs play in the U.S. health care system and underscores the value they bring to patient care and medical practice. IMG Recognition Week provides a platform to acknowledge the challenges faced by IMGs as they pursue licensure, residency and fellowship opportunities in the U.S. Despite these challenges, IMGs bring a wealth of knowledge, skills and cultural perspectives that enhance the quality of health care delivery.
