Celebrating Healthcare Continuing Education Professionals Day
On Friday, January 23, 2026, We are Celebrating our Excellent Continuing Education Community.
On behalf of the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) and the Focused Task Force on Accreditation, we want to thank all 24 of our accredited providers and their staff, planners, speakers, faculties and facilitators. Our providers represent hospitals, health systems, a specialty organization, and a department of health. You all help provide excellent Continuing Education to our many communities.
This day gives us the opportunity to recognize your efforts that help health care professionals remain current, competent and able to deliver quality care to those you serve. Continuing Education remains a key to lifetime learning and professional development. Let your key administrative people know about this celebration! Reach out to someone you work with and thank them for what they do!
We would like to welcome and congratulate two new providers, accredited last year: Ohio Department of Health and Dayton Children’s Hospital. We are excited and grateful to have them as part of our accreditation system.
Finally, we want to recognize the work of our volunteer surveyors and Focused Task Force on Accreditation members. These individuals are experienced CME professionals from Ohio, responsible for reviewing your program and making accreditation decisions.
