Last week the CDC announced that certain immunocompromised individuals and people over the age of 50 who received an initial booster dose at least 4 months ago are now eligible for another mRNA booster to increase their protection against severe disease from COVID-19. 

To help amplify this message from the CDC and the importance of still getting the initial vaccination and booster, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) has created a COVID-19 vaccine booster communications toolkit.

Whether you're a physician practice providing the booster, or just talking to existing or new patients about the vaccine, the guide provides useful tips, messaging and other information that practices can use to communicate with patients and assist healthcare providers.
