OSMA Physicians & Staff Advocate for Medicare Funding & Prior Authorization Reform in D.C.

 

This week, several OSMA physicians joined your OSMA Government Relations team in D.C. to participate in the American Medical Association’s National Advocacy Conference (NAC).

As part of the conference, Drs. Susan Hubbell, Lisa Egbert, and Mary LaPlante represented OSMA in numerous meetings with elected officials on Capitol Hill, taking this opportunity to stress the importance of several major physician and health care priority topics, including Medicare cuts, GME funding, and scope of practice issues.
