Open Positions:

RFS Membership Chairperson
The Chairperson serves a one-year term on the RFS Executive Council. This role is responsible for spearheading all RFS membership recruitment and engagement strategies.
Key duties include:
• Coordinating outreach to residency programs across the state to promote OSMA RFS and address potential members' inquiries.
• Advocating to OSMA staff for enhanced membership benefits that best serve our trainee members.
• Serving as the primary liaison for the Medical Student Section (MSS) and their mentorship programs including directing MSS mentorship efforts specifically related to resolution writing and submission.
RFS Communications Chairperson
The Chairperson serves a one-year term on the RFS Executive Council.
Key responsibilities include:
• Serving as note-taker to accurately record meeting minutes for all Executive Council meetings.
• Drafting official communications for broad distribution to the RFS membership.
• Coordinating communication strategies across all relevant sections (e.g., MSS, YPS).
RFS Advocacy Chairperson
The Chairperson serves a one-year term on the RFS Executive Council. This role coordinates all RFS advocacy efforts and acts as the key liaison to the OSMA.
Key responsibilities include:
• Serving as the primary contact for OSMA regarding advocacy initiatives and opportunities.
• Coordinating and managing the RFS resolution submission process prior to OSMA annual meetings.
• Documenting and maintaining records of all RFS resolution submissions and their outcomes.
