The Ohio State Medical Association works with Ohio’s Medicare and Medicaid payers to provide physician practices with current and proposed information policies, news, tips, resources and more – keeping you informed, in compliance, and helping to get your claims paid in a timely, appropriate way.

AAPC CONTINUING EDUCATION:

This program has the prior approval of AAPC for 8.0 continuing education hours. Granting of prior approval in no way constitutes endorsement by AAPC of the program content or the program sponsor.

A unique CEU code will be given towards the end of each presentation. Learners must keep track of these codes and enter them in the one-time evaluation (emailed to registrants on Aug. 19) as verification of participation. Learners have until Aug. 31 to complete any of the on-demand webinars for any live webinars missed. Once the evaluation is completed and registration verified, the learner will be emailed a CEU Code Card that replaces the AAPC certificate, and includes all of the individual index numbers of the webinars completed.



ACCESS DETAILS:
All webinars are presented live but will also be recorded as on-demand for your convenience if you are not able to join in live, EXCEPT for the CGS Administrator presentations. CMS prohibits recording; therefore, two live sessions of the same presentation are offered, and you need to join only one. When you register, you will choose either Aug. 9 or Aug. 16. You will automatically registered for all of the other webinars, however you can choose to attend only those you have an interest in, or wait for the recorded on-demand version if the date/time is not convenient for you. 

- Upon registration and payment, you will receive a confirmation from info@osma.org. This confirmation will provide you with all of the connection details for each webinar – add these to your calendar! An event reminder will also be sent the day before.

- Registrants will receive a final email on Aug. 19 with a link to the on-demand recordings and to the evaluation. For those wanting to earn AAPC credit, this is where you enter the CEU code. Once completed, you will receive an email with a CEU Code Card that replaces the AAPC certificate, and includes all of the individual index numbers of the webinars completed. Credit for on-demand webinars is valid through Aug. 31.

It is the AAPC member’s responsibility to enter the index numbers into their AAPC CEU tracker upon completion of all the webinars, and to retain the certificate for possible random audit.


CANCELLATIONS: There are no refunds once a registration is processed. If you register for the live event and can’t attend, you will have access to the on-demand recordings (except for the Medicare presentation as CGS rules prohibit the recording of presentations.)
