OSMA's 2021 Annual Meeting Update
Save the Dates! Our Annual Meeting will be fully virtual this year and will take place April 9 – 11.
The 2021 Annual Meeting is still in the planning phase but we wanted to share important dates for your calendar, along with the information that we do have. We will update the website at OSMA.org/annualmeeting as we have more details.
The call for Candidates has gone out to all OSMA members by email. We are looking for members that are interested in serving as At-Large Councilors or Ohio Delegation members to the AMA.

Important Dates to Remember for Candidate Applications:
- Friday, January 29, 2021 — All applications must be submitted
- The week of February 8, 2021 — The Nominating Committee will be holding At Large Councilor interviews.
Elections will take place much like they did in 2020. Districts will hold elections for both District Councilor (Only Districts two, four, six and eight will elect a Councilor in 2021) as well as District Delegates and Alternate Delegates. At-Large Councilor elections will be by statewide ballot again this year and all other elections will occur during the virtual meeting of the House of Delegates with only Delegates voting. We will post specific dates and details regarding all elections on the annual meeting website as they become available.
The Deadline to Submit Resolutions for the 2021 Annual Meeting is Tuesday, February 9, 2021.
Any resolutions that are submitted after this deadline will have to be considered by the Emergency Resolution Committee. Guidelines for writing and submitting resolutions (submit to firstname.lastname@example.org) are located at OSMA.org/Resolutions. We are still working on how resolution committee hearings will be held. At this point we plan to have both online commenting as well as some kind of virtual committee hearing open to all members. All floor debate and voting on committee reports will be conducted during the virtual meeting of the House of Delegates.
