OSMA Physician Advocacy Boot Camp
Save the date for Thursday evening, October 6th!
We hear from physicians every week regarding how they can become more involved in the advocacy process. In addition to committing to participate in OSMA Advocacy Committees, we will be holding a virtual advocacy boot camp this fall—stay tuned for the final date.
For two hours in the evening on Oct. 6, all OSMA members will be able to participate. We will be covering the specifics of how policy is made in Ohio and the variety of ways you can participate in the process. Advocacy can be as simple as helping review language in a medical board rule on telehealth, to testifying in person on a key legislative proposal. You will also hear from OSMA staff and physician leadership, and be able to ask questions about how to become an advocate.
We will send more information and registration details later this summer, but don’t miss this unique opportunity!
The event will be free to all OSMA members.
