AMA Meeting Recap—Ohio Resolution Outcomes

More than 700 physicians and medical student delegates gathered in Chicago from June 6 – 11 at the 2025 AMA Annual Meeting. The delegates debated numerous policies and attended a variety of educational sessions.

OSMA sent a contingent of Ohio delegates. The Ohio delegation brought three specific policies for consideration, one that was adopted and two that were referred for additional consideration.

Adopted:

• Streamlining Annual Compliance Training Requirements for Physicians

Referred:

• Improving Patient Access to Pharmacies and Medications in Pharmacy Deserts
  
  
• Supporting the Integration of Blood Pressure Variability Data in Electronic Medical Records
