WISeR Model is Coming to Ohio in January—Are You Prepared?

As a friendly reminder, OSMA has provided updates to members about Ohio being selected as one of six states for the Medicare pilot prior authorization program called WISeR (Wasteful and Inappropriate Service Reduction).

CMS continues to provide updated information on the program and Ohio’s Part B Medicare Administrative Contractor, CGS, is offering two educational webinars this month (Dec. 17 and Dec. 30) about program implementation.

The program will only apply to about 2% of all billable services but you still need to make sure you are aware of how your practice might be impacted.
