Voting Instructions

At-Large Councilor Election Voting

The election slate for At-Large Councilor have been nominated by the OSMA Committee on Nominations. This Election will take place prior to the 2025 OSMA Annual Meeting, so please be looking for election information in your OSMA communications. It will be online and statewide. As in past, we will be using election software (ElectionBuddy) to conduct the online election. You will receive an email with instructions to complete and submit your ballot. The results of the election will be announced at the 2025 House of Delegates.

All other candidates for non-district specific offices occur through acclimation or real-time voting at the 2025 House of Delegates meeting.

OSMA House of Delegates in-Person Voting Made Easy...

This year we are using a new platform to run real-time, in-person elections at the 2025 House of Delegates called Poll Everywhere.

USING YOUR PRIMARY EMAIL ADDRESS ON FILE WITH OSMA, you are encouraged to sign-up for a free account at polleverywhere.com prior to the 2025 House of Delegates. You will receive additional instructions at the House of Delegates meeting to participate directly in House voting with your account, but completing the account sign-up prior to the meeting of the House will allow for a smoother in-person voting process.

If you are unable to set up an account prior to the meeting of the House, don’t worry. We will be registering your primary email address on file with the OSMA to link with our elections, and once you are credentialed and seated you will receive emailed instructions as to how to create your account. Please note that only OSMA members that have registered with Poll Everywhere will be able to participate on the e-platform elections.
